An update

The National Custom and Self Build Association (NaCSBA) serves as the voice of the Custom and Self-build housing sector. Its mission is to establish Custom and Self Build as a mainstream option for anyone seeking to create a home of their own. It is a membership organisation governed by an Executive Committee (EC) and incorporated legally as a Community Interest Company (CIC) to serve its membership.

Sarah Kempton was invited to join the CIC Board by NaCSBA CEO Peter Johns, and her appointment was approved by the membership at the Association’s AGM in November. She has over 12 years of experience in the self-build industry and leads the marketing for Self-Build Zone, now part of the international insurance group Howden. Sarah will serve a three-year term as part of the Executive Committee.

Commenting on her appointment, Sarah said:

“I am delighted to join the CIC Board and look forward to sharing my business management knowledge and marketing expertise, all gleaned from working within the self build and insurance industries over many years. This is an area that I am hugely passionate about. It’s a real honour to be joining the NaCSBA Executive Committee, where I will get to work with and learn from fellow, like-minded professionals already supporting the self build sector.”

Peter Johns, NaCSBA CEO, said:

“We are thrilled to have Sarah on the CIC Board. Her industry knowledge and skill set will be a welcome addition to our Executive Committee, where she will provide valuable input into the Association’s objectives and strategic input to the setting of business planning and policy objectives. We warmly welcome Sarah and look forward to benefitting from her expertise in supporting and promoting the sector, especially the work of NaCSBA now and in the future.”
